Humble of her impact, JoAnn Roots brings necessary joy and needs to her community as Executive Director of Miracle on Long Street. Started in 2000 as the St. Paul Players at the St. Paul AME Church, Miracle on Long Street aims to feed, clothe, and provide for their neighbors with no questions asked. JoAnn encourages each of us as residents to be attentive neighbors, and uplift our community by following the mantra “We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone." JoAnn proves that every act, no matter how small, can have a huge impact in transforming a life. Hear JoAnn’s story.
